Junior Volleyball: Junior Boys and Girls teams are entered into the Waikato Junior Volleyball competition. In the past years we have had approximately 3-4 Junior Girls teams and at least one Junior Boys team.

Senior Volleyball: Boys and Girls Year 10 and up can be entered as part of a team that plays in the Waikato Senior Volleyball competition. In the past years we have had at least two Senior Girls and one Senior Boys team.

Some players who get selected for either the Junior A or Senior A team may also have the opportunity to attend the Junior North Island Volleyball Championships or Senior Volleyball National Championships which does come with an extra cost.

Fees: $60. Additional costs will be incurred if selected in a team that attends tournaments.

Practices: Practices are generally held either before or after school depending on which team a student is placed in. There is also the opportunity for players to be involved in extra practices on Sunday mornings throughout the year.

Uniform: A playing top will be provided. Students will need appropriate court shoes and knee pads are also recommended.

Important Dates: The senior competition is held in Term 1 and played on Saturday’s. The Junior competition is held towards the end of Term 3 and into Term 4 and is played on a Thursday afternoon/evening.

Trials for the senior competition will be held at the start of the year, with Junior trials held in Term 3.
