Kia Ora, my name is Niki Adam and it is a pleasure to elected back onto the board.

I am born, raised and educated in Cambridge. My children are the third generation of my family to attend Cambridge High School.

I have been a part of the team at Herbert Morton a local accountancy firm since my last year at high school, I completed my qualifications while working and became a director of the firm in 2015. The relationships and knowledge that I have developed over the past 25 years has allowed me the opportunity to give back to the school and community under this role.

In today’s environment, education has evolved from the traditional format and continues to do so. Education for our tamariki (children) is not solely about academics and includes culture, arts, sport and many social experiences that they navigate through out their schooling. It is also crucial that we ensure that they have been provided with a safe and welcoming environment to allow them to prepare to leave the school as well-rounded, best versions of themselves.

I am committed to working with the school to ensure that continues to evolve, the school is able to provide all while the school maintains a strong school and community culture.
