Being a part of Te Koo Utu means being a part of a community and connecting to the school and your peers. With enthusiasm at the helm, our house is seen to be joyful and dedicated (especially within costume competitions). Our main goal is to create a sense of belonging within the school for future years to come. We hope to promote an environment where people are pushed out of their comfort zones and allowed to thrive in any area of the school. Whether this be in sports, the arts, academics, or cultural activities - we hope to support everyone in pursuing their passions. Participation is a huge focus for us this year, especially in regard to the inter-house competition. This healthy competition draws out the future leaders of the house and creates a common goal and focus for those within the house. Hopefully, by promoting this sense of community we can encourage participation in these events.
