We aim to take a team to both the Waikato Secondary School Championships and the North Island Secondary School Championships each year, with these events being held at Turoa Ski field and/or Whakapapa. Parent involvement is required for transportation & marshalling. It is not necessary to have had gate race training experience to enter these competitions however the skiing ability required is an intermediate level and being able to access the Highnoon Express Chairlift (six-seater) at Turoa Ski Field.
