The Year 12 English courses involve studies in literature and film. With a focus on analysis, students will learn to pull apart the texts they read or watch. Teachers select a range of texts that allow students to engage in high level thinking, considering how and why a text is made and the messages it presents. Students are expected to be creative, analytical, and critical.

Our teachers aim to ensure students can achieve University Entrance Literacy credits that are offered in their course. Year 12 students leave English at the end of the year with a new outlook on literature and skills that have prepared them for further study.
