Psychology offers students an opportunity to connect and develop their understanding of the world around them as we introduce intriguing aspects of human behaviour.  Why do good people do bad things?  Why does prejudice occur?  How do we measure personality?  Where do we get our intelligence from?

Students will gain the ability to analyse the different psychological approaches and apply them in different contexts allowing students to experience different perspectives and step outside their own thinking.  There are also opportunities to develop an understanding about themselves and the way they experience, comply with and reject different societal pressures.

We will explore ideas like these while learning about how scientific research is conducted in psychology and how to design your own experiments.  We also use a wide range of activities and hands-on teaching and learning to ensure not only depth of understanding but fun as well!
