Pathways and Careers
The Pathways Department assists students to confidently navigate their career-life journey. We have an integrated approach for careers support; embedding Careers Education into the school curriculum and using the online programme Career Central for all students.
We promote the development of key competencies and employability skills to help students have the skills and knowledge needed as they look ahead to their next steps beyond secondary school.
We offer personalised career counselling to help students identify their strengths and interests. Many students have no idea of which direction they want to take after high school - an appointment with the career’s advisor can often be a great starting point.
We have many resources available for students: university and polytechnic prospectuses, course flyers, information on different careers, and students all have access to career central
We have many events throughout the year: career expos, university/polytechnic visits, work experience days, visits from many tertiary education providers and private companies.
