Netball is our most popular winter sport and has a proud heritage at Cambridge High School.

We have teams that play both locally in Cambridge and in the Hamilton competition which provides the best opportunities for all players across all levels.

The season runs through Terms 2 and 3 with trials held in Term 1.

It is important to note that a student's commitment to summer sports always take priority.  Experience has shown that it is always possible to manage the summer sports and the interest to play netball.  Our coaches and managers are flexible in their approach to make sure that there are no problems and that all students can take part.

We are always looking for parent support to coach, manage, umpire so please make contact if you can provide some support.

We are excited to have Rebecca working part-time within our Sports Department where she is also putting her extensive Netball knowledge to use by assisting with our Netball programme.

Practice Times:  All teams train once a week (sometimes two) and these times will be set by coaches once teams are selected.  

Trial Dates:

Seniors (Year 11, 12 and 13) - Tuesday 18th March and Tuesday 1st April - 6-8pm (CHS Gym)

Juniors (Years 9 and 10) - Wednesday 19th March and Wednesday 2nd April - 4-6pm (CHS Gym)

Fees:  The fee will be in the region of $280 for our Premier team, $220 for our Premier Reserve and $140 for all other teams.

Uniform:  New netball students will need to purchase a CHS Netball Dress approximately $80) to play in. We will arrange a fitting session and the date and times for this will be advised.
