Ko ngā pae tawhiti, whaia kia tata. Ko ngā pae tata, whakamaua kia tina.
The potential for tomorrow depends on what we do today.
Te Piringa Māori is CHS's kapa who is made up of rangatahi who are on their journey to recapture and learn their reo and tikanga through an interactive artform of waiata, mōteatea and haka. Through storytelling, rangatahi will revitalise and carry forward the aspirations of their tūpuna and whānau - which are integral in developing their cultural capacity as future leaders. As such, there are many opportunities throughout the year for our rangatahi to lead and support both in-school and community initiatives. Join Te Piringa Māori as we explore, learn and practice together as a whānau.
In conjunction with kapa haka, your participation in the option subject Te Ao Haka will further develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in te ao Māori.
Nau mai, haere mai!
