On Day 4 at lunchtime in the library, a group of staff and students who love reading come together to share their thoughts and feelings on the book they’ve read during the previous two weeks. A range of genres (fantasy, crime, detective) and a range of text styles (verse novels, short stories, novels, and graphic novels) are explored. Pleasant discussions and heated debates all happen over a cup of tea with like-minded people who share their thinking and love of reading. At times, everyone is challenged by the texts they read as they fall outside comfort zones and broaden horizons.

Novel-Tea is aimed at the senior school as they sometimes cover more mature topics.
