Final 2 Weeks at CHS

Kia ora e te whaanau o te kura tuarua o Te Oko Horoi,
Dear parents / caregivers of Cambridge High School,

As we near the end of the week, term and year I wanted to get in touch to say thank you for your support across the year. I am very grateful for the contribution of our community to the outstanding holistic learning experience for the youth of Cambridge. Thank you for the many ways you add to our learning journey through being chauffeurs, coaches, managers and number one support persons. I also want to take this opportunity to thank the staff at CHS, who contribute so much to the success of Cambridge High School, opening up a world of possibilities for our students. I believe that education is a fantastic profession with the potential to transform lives. Each year I see students make progress as young people, learning from the many opportunities an education at CHS provides, graduating in a strong position ready for ongoing study, apprenticeships or work options. This takes a lot of energy and commitment from all of us and so I hope that you take the time to rest, spend time together and re-group ready for whatever 2025 will bring.

Today's communication is focused on the details of the last few weeks at CHS.

Ngaa mihi
Greg Thornton
Principal
