For the junior school we have Books and Banter Club. Students are able to collect a bingo sheet with a variety of book challenges on them. These include suggestions such as: read a book with a pink cover, read a book set at sea, read the last book in a series. Students can complete one row at a time, or aim to complete the entire sheet. In return they receive a chocolate bar and a Reach Certificate. These reading challenges also push students outside their normal comfort zones, creating more well-rounded readers out of our juniors.

In 2025 the Books and Banter Club will meet on Day 5 and share book ideas and check in on their bingo sheets.
