2018 Dux

Congratulations to Ashley Barea who was awarded Dux of the school for 2018. She has achieved tremendously in academics over her time at Cambridge High School.
Ashley has been at the top of her year group since Year 9, receiving awards regularly including the Cum Laude Award for gaining both NCEA Level 1 and Level 2 Endorsed with Excellence and the Educational Trust Award incorporating the Tom and Rose Milne scholarship. Ashley was also the worthy recipient of the University of Waikato Faculty of Social Science prize for the top performer within the Social Science faculty.
Ashley was First in Class in Classical Studies, History and Psychology and Second in Class in Biology and Year 13 Geography as a Year 12 student in 2017. She has also gained NCEA Level 3 Endorsed with Excellence.
Ashley is to be congratulated on her outstanding work ethic, attitude and ability and we wish her all the best for what is sure to be a successful future.
